With the successful completion of the Rollout event, ELOPS is ready to begin testing and then participate in competitions.
The event held to unveil the new car was attended by dignitaries from the University of Thessaly, major sponsors who support the completion of the students' project, as well as former members of the team.The new single-seater, which is the 8th in the series built by the Centauros team and has in turn taken its name from the Centaurs of Pelion, like the previous single-seaters, ELOPS,was revealed on stage after a presentation by the members combined with short speeches by sponsors, professors and members of the University's Rectorate, leaving the best impressions. The students of the polytechnic and economic schools had the pleasure of seeing for themselves an idea on which they work and dedicate several hours of their daily lives, become a reality.
Afterwards, ELOPS was transferred to the beach of Volos, outside the pedagogical department of the University, where it was available to everyone to see the innovations of the new car up close and to chat with the members, having the opportunity to answer their questions and learn more about motorsports.
All students who are members of the Centaur team can now fully focus on their preparation for the competitions in both dynamic and static events and return with the best possible results.
