Chiron

Features

The Centaurus Racing Team, presents the Chiron. The Chiron was designed to compete in international competitions, such as the Formula Student Germany and the Formula Student Austria.

Engine and Drive System

  • Engine: Internal combustion engine, according to Formula Student regulations.

  • Transmission: Sequential gearbox and reinforced differential for efficient power transmission to the rear axle.

Aerodynamics

  • Aerosections: Front and rear spoilers designed to increase downforce and improve stability at high speeds.

  • Undertray: Diffuser system for improved airflow and increased traction.

Chassis and Structure

  • Chassis: Tubular steel structure, with emphasis on rigidity and driver safety

  • Body: Made from composite materials, such as carbon fiber, to reduce weight and increase aerodynamic efficiency.

Suspension and Steering

  • Suspension: Double wishbones front and rear, fully adjustable to adapt to different track conditions.

  • Address: Precise steering with minimal dead travel, offering instant response and control.

Control and Telemetry Systems

  • Electronics: Integrated engine control and data management systems for precise performance control and parameter adjustment on the go.

  • Telemetry: Real-time data collection such as temperature, pressure, engine speed, speed and suspension behavior, to optimize performance and identify technical issues immediately.

Safety

  • The Chiron complies with Formula Student's strict safety standards, including a safety cell, 6-point restraint systems and specially designed fire extinguishing systems.
