With the successful completion of the Rollout event, ELOPS is ready to begin testing and then participate in competitions. 

The event held to unveil the new car was attended by dignitaries from the University of Thessaly, major sponsors who support the completion of the students' project, as well as former members of the team.The new single-seater, which is the 8th in the series built by the Centauros team and has in turn taken its name from the Centaurs of Pelion, like the previous single-seaters, ELOPS,was revealed on stage after a presentation by the members combined with short speeches by sponsors, professors and members of the University's Rectorate, leaving the best impressions. The students of the polytechnic and economic schools had the pleasure of seeing for themselves an idea on which they work and dedicate several hours of their daily lives, become a reality. 

Afterwards, ELOPS was transferred to the beach of Volos, outside the pedagogical department of the University, where it was available to everyone to see the innovations of the new car up close and to chat with the members, having the opportunity to answer their questions and learn more about motorsports.

All students who are members of the Centaur team can now fully focus on their preparation for the competitions in both dynamic and static events and return with the best possible results.

It was a very special experience as for the first time the team participated in three competitions in one year. The beginning of this beautiful journey was the competition in Italy in which the team managed to win the 17th place in the overall ranking, despite the difficulties it faced in the dynamic events due to an unexpected brake problem. Next up was the competition in Germany, which was the team's main goal, as it is a very good opportunity to show your capabilities but at the same time to equip yourself with new knowledge, to identify and correct mistakes. Thus, in this competition, our team, faced with some of the most famous universities in the world, manages to get the 8th place in design (Design presentation)Always looking ahead and filled with more appetite and knowledge, we continue towards our final destination, the Czech Republic competition. This seems to be the right opportunity, after any corrections and changes made based on feedback from the two previous competitions, for the team to raise the bar even higher and become even more competitive. Thus, all the efforts are rewarded by more thoroughly conquering the

This is how this year ended, leaving many memories with strong emotions for the members who completed their cycle in the group along with the end of the last competition, and with even more knowledge and enthusiasm for work awaiting the members who are continuing or starting now.

In addition to the unveiling of its new car, the team also celebrated its 10th anniversary, together with its oldest members, looking back on both pleasant and unpleasant memories. Of course, the event could not be without the previous three cars – the other three Centaurs of the team.Chiron is the first single-seater of Centaurus Racing Team, then Nessos followed, then Thireas and this year the team completed the construction of the 4thου Centaur, Amphion, after many hours of study and hard work.

Centaurus Racing Team is composed exclusively of students from the University of Thessaly, and since 2009 has aimed to study, design and build fully functional Formula single-seaters. Over the course of these 10 years of operation, the team has managed to obtain very important distinctions in the Formula Student competitions,having huge competition from foreign universities that have larger budgets and expertise. Of course, this has never been an obstacle for the team to continue to strive and achieve significant distinctions. So this year, Centaurus Racing Team, together with Amphionas, will take part in the competitions of Hungary, Italy and the Czech Republic in the Class1 category of the Formula Student competitions.
